Survey Interviewer

Job Description

We are seeking a Survey Interviewer to engage with research participants in both face-to-face and telephone interviews. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in data collection, ensuring accurate information is gathered to support our research objectives.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants using various channels and maintain an updated contact list.
• Ensure all ethical guidelines are followed during the data collection phase.
• Collaborate with analysts to present collected data clearly and effectively.
• Conduct follow-up interviews if necessary to clarify data.
• Assist in organizing focus groups when required.
• Support data verification and validation efforts.
• Participate in reviewing and refining interview methodologies.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new research initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, sociology, anthropology)

Experience

• Experience in conducting interviews or data collection is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Qualtrics
• Statistical analysis tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Cultural sensitivity

Languages

• English: Fluent
• French: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with children's research: Experience working with diverse populations including children.
• Knowledge of qualitative research techniques: Understanding of qualitative methods for gathering in-depth responses.
