Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including diagnostics, maintenance, and repair for a wide range of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
• Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues
• Perform emergency repairs in the field to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with team members to prepare equipment for job sites
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in heavy machinery maintenance preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with heavy machinery

Technical Skills

• Advanced mechanical repair
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Electrical systems knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
