Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Theatrical Rigger! You'll be in charge of installing and operating rigging systems, ensuring equipment safety, and working with various production teams to create memorable events and performances.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate rigging equipment for stage productions, concerts, and other live events.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of rigging equipment.
  • Coordinate with lighting and sound teams for seamless integration of rigging systems.
  • Ensure the safety of performers, crew, and audience members by following safety protocols.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to crew members in rigging operations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification from a recognized rigging program (e.g. ETCP Certified Rigger - Theatre)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Theatrical Rigger
Technical Skills
  • Rigging equipment proficiency
  • AutoCAD

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Certification in Fall Arrest Systems or Fall Protection: Knowledge of safety measures for working at heights.
  • Experience with stage machinery operation: Familiarity with various stage equipment and machinery used in productions.
