Radiologic Technologist / Radiographer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and produce high-quality images for patient diagnostics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of anatomy and be capable of maintaining equipment while ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and verify information before proceeding with imaging procedures.
• Position patients and equipment to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Utilize radiology information systems (RIS) for data management and image storage.
• Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety during procedures.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
• Stay current with continuing education requirements for certifications.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with training.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in diagnostic radiology and imaging technology

Technical Skills

• CT and MRI Operating Skills
• Radiation Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• ARRT certification in specialty area is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
