Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Atlanta team. You will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and verify prescription information.
• Interact with patients to understand their needs and provide them with assistance.
• Track medication inventory and place orders promptly.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
• Support the pharmacy team in achieving operational goals.
• Provide guidance to pharmacy interns and trainees.
• Handle medication-related inquiries and resolve customer issues.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician Certificate or diploma preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Compounding Medications
• Customer Service

• Organizational Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in Spanish: Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with compounding techniques: Knowledge and experience in compounding medications.
