Join our team as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Social Worker, where you'll play a pivotal role in providing support and counseling to individuals facing mental health disorders. You will assess patients, create tailored treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health and substance use conditions.
• Monitor and document patients' treatment progress and adjust as necessary.
• Lead therapy groups and individual sessions focusing on recovery.
• Work with local organizations to enhance access to mental health services.
• Engage family members in treatment processes as needed.
• Participate in research and development of new treatment programs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric social work or related field
