Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems tailored to our clients' needs. Your expertise in CAD software and mechanical analysis will be crucial in driving our projects to success.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and drawings for new mechanical designs.
• Conduct stress analysis and simulations to ensure optimal performance.
• Support the manufacturing team with technical expertise in product assembly.
• Implement cost-saving measures through design optimization.
• Lead project meetings to discuss progress and resolve issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design

Technical Skills

• ANSYS
• Pro/ENGINEER

Soft Skills

• Project management
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of industry standards: Familiar with ASME and ISO standards in mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience in a leadership role: Experience leading engineering projects or teams.
