Job Description

As a Textile, Apparel, and Furnishings Worker at Hats & Co., you will be responsible for performing finishing tasks on high-quality hats. You will work closely with designers and artisans, utilizing both traditional and modern techniques to create unique and stylish hats.

Responsibilities

• Conduct finishing tasks on various hat styles and sizes, adjusting techniques as necessary.
• Perform quality checks and provide feedback on materials and processes.
• Assist in training new staff on hat finishing techniques and equipment use.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to implement new styles.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Maintain production equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with production deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Research and apply new finishing techniques that can enhance product quality.
• Mentor junior workers in the finishing processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience
