Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing safe, sustainable, and efficient structures. You will work closely with architects and other engineers to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify structural design plans using engineering software.
• Assess and recommend materials based on project requirements.
• Participate in project meetings to communicate progress and challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in structural principles and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• LEED Green Associate certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
