Job Description

As an Automobile Tire Recapper, you will play a crucial role in the retreading process. You'll be responsible for inspecting, buffing, and applying new tread to tires used on various vehicles including cars, trucks, and buses. This hands-on position requires meticulous attention to detail and physical dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments on used tires to identify potential for retreading.
• Prepare tires for new tread application by buffing and cleaning.
• Apply and trim new rubber, ensuring adherence and quality.
• Document the retreading process for tracking and quality assurance.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Maintain machinery and tools in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with the production team on workflow improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in automotive repair or related field preferred

Experience

• Preferred experience in automotive repair or tire manufacturing industry
