Job Description
Join our dedicated team as an Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health care, conduct patient assessments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to create effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive evaluations and establish treatment goals for patients.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Participate in case management and community outreach initiatives.
Support crisis intervention and emergency management.
Engage in research projects related to psychiatric nursing practices.
Facilitate workshops and seminars for staff development.
Advocate for patient rights and access to mental health resources.
Requirements
Education
Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) may be advantageous
Experience
5+ years of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
