Join our dedicated team as an Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health care, conduct patient assessments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to create effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and establish treatment goals for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in case management and community outreach initiatives.
• Support crisis intervention and emergency management.
• Engage in research projects related to psychiatric nursing practices.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars for staff development.
• Advocate for patient rights and access to mental health resources.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) may be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
