Road Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing road infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement plans for efficient road network design.
• Assess environmental impacts associated with road project designs.
• Coordinate with traffic engineers to optimize road functionality.
• Supervise the quality control of materials used in construction projects.
• Update project stakeholders on progress and challenges regularly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in road design engineering

Technical Skills

• GIS Software
• Traffic Simulation Software

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience managing junior staff: Supervisory experience in a design environment.
