Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be tasked with assisting in the development, design, and testing of mechanical systems and components. Your expertise will help us innovate and improve our current processes.

Responsibilities

• Design prototypes and models for mechanical components.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed engineering projects.
• Utilize analytical software to assist in project assessments and simulations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality materials and components are sourced.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate relevant technologies into our projects.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions aimed at new product development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Mathematical Modelling
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Project Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of HVAC systems: Experience with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification: Certification is a plus for managing engineering projects.
