Job Description

The Rodding Anode Worker will play a crucial role in our production team, responsible for handling and preparing carbon anodes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure that the rodding furnaces operate effectively, contributing to the overall quality and safety of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and load carbon anodes into rodding furnaces.
• Adjust furnace temperatures according to operational requirements.
• Replace spent anodes in a systematic, timely manner.
• Keep rodding equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Conduct inspections of anodes for quality assurance.
• Utilize pneumatic tools for the safe handling of materials.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.
• Document all relevant production data accurately.
• Work closely with team members to achieve production targets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in rod room operations or similar field preferred

Technical Skills

• Physical stamina
• Mechanical aptitude

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Adherence to safety protocols

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
