Construction Inspector

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Inspector, where you'll ensure that all construction activities comply with local and state regulations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safety standards and quality control across our projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction works in progress and completed projects for compliance with project specifications.
• Assess the quality of construction materials and workmanship in line with standard industry practices.
• Report findings through detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure all construction activities are compliant with safety standards and regulations.
• Attend and contribute to safety meetings and compliance trainings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to facilitate inspections and compliance checks.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and other documents.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
• Stay informed of latest industry trends, building codes, and technology.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Construction Management or related field
• Professional certifications such as ICC or NICET are preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry is required

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Expertise in project management software
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in construction

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
