Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Sill Worker, where you will be tasked with constructing and installing sills for diverse building projects. Your expertise with materials such as concrete, wood, and stone will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction services. Collaboration and effective communication with other tradespeople will be vital to success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut window sills to fit openings.
• Secure the sill in place using appropriate fasteners.
• Fit and seal window frames and sashes as required.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Work on specialized techniques like flashing and insulation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other tradespeople.
• Document work progress and update project timelines.
• Assist with training junior staff as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in relevant trade (e.g., carpentry) is a plus

Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in a related field such as carpentry or construction
