Job Description

The Housing Development Specialist will oversee the development and construction of high-quality affordable housing projects. By collaborating with senior management and various stakeholders, this role ensures each project meets budgetary and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of housing development projects.
  • Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments for project timelines and deliverables.
  • Liaise with community representatives for project support and feedback.
  • Analyze market trends to inform project development strategies.
  • Prepare detailed project proposals and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings to track progress and address concerns.
  • Monitor project cash flow and expenditures against budgets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote housing projects effectively.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff members on project-related tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, or related disciplines
  • Master's degree is preferred
