Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Bike Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing innovative and functional bikes. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, sketching, and creating high-quality bike designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and sketch bike designs based on market research and customer preferences.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D renderings of bike designs using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and production-ready.
• Participate in design reviews and modify designs based on feedback.
• Stay updated on advancements in bike design and contribute to product innovation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source materials for bike production.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the design process.
• Prepare design proposals and prototypes for stakeholder presentations.
• Maintain documentation of all design iterations.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop effective product presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in bike design or relevant field

Technical Skills

• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Creative Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Prototyping Tools: Knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques for bike components.
