Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Coach Mechanic to join our team. The Coach Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing coaches to ensure smooth operations and safety for passengers. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive maintenance procedures on coaches.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
  • Document repairs and adjustments made during service.
  • Collaborate with team to enhance service efficiency.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Identify potential problems before they require extensive repairs.
  • Ensure tool and equipment inventory is managed effectively.
  • Assist in compliance with environmental regulations during maintenance activities.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree in Automotive Technology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and management
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of HVAC systems
  • Electrical Systems Knowledge

Certifications
  • ASE certification in Automotive Repair
  • Vehicle Maintenance Certification
