Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Engine and Other Machine Assemblers. Your role will involve working with various engine parts, ensuring they are assembled correctly and meet the specified quality standards, while collaborating with other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Quality Control department to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Adapt to rapid changes in production demands and adjust assembly techniques accordingly.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct functional tests on assembled engines when required.
  • Provide feedback to improve assembly processes and practices.
  • Ensure all materials used in assembly are accounted for and properly stored.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Foster a culture of safety and quality within the assembly team.
  • Attend scheduled safety and process training sessions.
  • Engage in problem-solving discussions to enhance team effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in engine assembly or a related field
Technical Skills
  • Experience with diesel and turbocharged engines
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
  • Forklift Safety Training Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment: Experience in a similar role will be a plus.
  • Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering: Education that enhances mechanical skills is desirable.
