As a Wood Pole Treater, you will be responsible for treating utility poles to extend their lifespan. This skilled labor position requires a solid understanding of chemical safety, treatment techniques, and the operation of specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate pressure treatment machinery safely and effectively.
Test treated poles for chemical retention and report results.
Train new team members in safety procedures and treatment processes.
Assist in inventory management for chemicals and equipment.
Perform maintenance on machinery and tools as needed.
Ensure adherence to environmental regulations in chemical usage.
Provide excellent communication with supervisors on job progress.
