Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Orderlies/Ward Assistants to support our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will help ensure the comfort and safety of patients while assisting with daily activities and maintaining a clean environment.
Responsibilities
Support nursing staff in caring for patients, including bathing and dressing.
Ensure that patient records are maintained and updated regularly.
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments as required.
Assist in the cleaning and stocking of the ward.
Monitor patient vital signs and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
Help with the preparation of patients for exams and treatments.
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
Assist with the transport of patients to various departments.
Follow established protocols and policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
