Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologist who will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures critical for diagnosing and treating infectious diseases. This role demands analytical expertise and attention to detail to ensure accurate testing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiology testing on patient samples with precision.
• Interpret and report test results to support clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with lab staff to improve testing workflows and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory safety protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to laboratory audits.
• Engage in ongoing education to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Support teamwork and communication within the laboratory environment.
• Manage time effectively to meet testing deadlines and patient needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Microbiology is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience

• CPR Certification

Languages

Advantageous

• Prior Experience in Clinical Settings: Experience working in a clinical laboratory environment highly preferred.
