Job Description

The Stocking Grocery Clerk is essential for maintaining the flow of products within our store, ensuring that shelves are fully stocked and that customers have access to quality grocery items. You will engage with team members to ensure effective stocking and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check grocery shipments for quality, ensuring all items are accounted for.
• Efficiently stock shelves and ensure items are rotated per FIFO (First In First Out) guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and targets.
• Assist customers by answering questions and helping them locate items.
• Help keep the backroom organized and assist with inventory counts.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to management.
• Participate in training on new products and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in grocery or retail preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
