Job Description

As a Merchandise Collector, you will play a crucial role in our operations by sourcing, collecting, and managing merchandise items that align with our retail strategies. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that our inventory remains accurate and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Gather merchandise as per company standards and specifications.
  • Document the condition and details of items collected for inventory records.
  • Work alongside merchandising and inventory management teams to address stock discrepancies.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all merchandise is up to standards.
  • Organize storage areas for ease of access and efficiency.
  • Support marketing initiatives by preparing items for promotional events.
  • Respond to customer feedback regarding merchandise quality.
  • Assist in preparing merchandise for online sales platforms.
  • Update inventory management systems with new item information.
  • Educate team members on collection processes and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college coursework in business or retail management is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory management or merchandise collection
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Excel
