Machine Operator Slitter Technician

Job Description

The Machine Operator Slitter Technician will play a crucial role in our production line, operating and maintaining slitting machines that cut materials for packaging. This position requires an individual who can troubleshoot machine issues and ensure quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Maintain slitting machines by performing regular inspections.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical problems and perform repairs as necessary.
• Inspect materials pre- and post-cutting to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Work closely with the quality control team to resolve any issues.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing preferred.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages
