Job Description
As an Air Bag Builder, you will play a vital role in assembling and testing air bags to ensure the utmost safety for vehicle occupants. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, precision, and an understanding of manufacturing protocols, guaranteeing our products meet the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow assembly instructions to create air bag components.
- Test and retest air bags to ensure they meet required safety specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement in production workflows.
- Keep maintenance logs of production tools and safety equipment.
- Participate in regular safety training and compliance checks.
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Analyze defect reports and troubleshoot assembly line issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality control standards.
- Participate in quality audits of manufacturing processes.
- Assist in training new staff members on assembly techniques.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Training in manufacturing or a related field preferred
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in air bag production or similar automotive assembly
Technical Skills
- Quality control skills
- Ability to operate machinery

Languages
- English: Fluent
