Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Police and Detectives, you will oversee daily operations within a law enforcement agency, ensuring compliance with legal standards and departmental policies. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide your team in responding to incidents, managing investigations, and promoting community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations and provide operational support.
  • Monitor and address community safety concerns.
  • Create schedules and assign duties to team members.
  • Prepare and present ongoing reports to the Chief of Police.
  • Encourage teamwork and a positive work environment among staff.
  • Ensure all departmental equipment is well-maintained and available.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of law enforcement experience, including supervisory experience
