Job Description

As a Stocker and Order Filler at Inventory Solutions Corp., you will be responsible for managing the inventory of tools and equipment. Your diligence ensures that tools are stored properly, issued efficiently, and maintained for maximum operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document new inventory of tools and equipment.
• Keep track of inventory levels and ensure the accuracy of records.
• Distribute tools as needed and manage requests efficiently.
• Coordinate the repair of damaged tools and maintain their condition.
• Ensure a clean toolroom environment and proper tool storage.
• Schedule and track ongoing tool calibration.
• Work with the procurement team to manage orders for new tools.
• Perform inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist employees with issues related to tool usage and selection.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in tool management or a related field

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management Software
• Basic Computer Skills

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Methodologies: Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma practices is a plus.
