Job Description

As a Floor Space Allocator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing floor space within our facilities, ensuring efficient organization and usage. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and develop actionable plans to maximize space utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and optimize current space allocations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed reports on space utilization metrics and present findings to management.
  • Assist in relocation planning and facility redesigns to accommodate changing organizational needs.
  • Work with IT and other departments to ensure space requirements meet technology needs.
  • Develop and implement effective space management policies.
  • Oversee and manage the workspace setup for new hires and departmental changes.
  • Provide training to staff on space utilization techniques and compliance.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for expanding or reducing office space.
  • Facilitate communication between departments for project updates and timelines.
  • Manage budget considerations related to space allocation improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Interior Design, or a related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in space planning or facility management
