Job Description
The Landing Man is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient landing operations for aircraft at an airport. You will coordinate with pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground crew to ensure smooth landings and departures.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the ground crew to ensure that all equipment is ready for aircraft landings.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to landing operations.
Conduct pre-landing inspections of the landing area for safety.
Assist in training new landing personnel in procedures and protocols.
Implement safety measures to prevent runway incursions and accidents.
Debrief with crew after each landing event to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification in Aviation Ground Handling preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation ground handling or related roles.
