Job Description

As a Tool Machine Setup Operator, you will play a critical role in our production process. Your key responsibility will be to set up and operate machine tools for producing precision parts and instruments. With a keen eye for detail, you will calibrate machines, monitor operations, and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up machine tools according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent downtime.
• Stop machines to clear jams or troubleshoot issues.
• Perform quality control checks on finished parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to refine processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Complete daily production reports and logs.
• Assist in the development of best practices for machine operation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or certification in machining is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine setup and operation

Technical Skills

• CNC Programming
• Blueprint Reading
• Mechanical Aptitude

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC Machining: Experience operating CNC machine tools for precise part production.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software: Knowledge of design software used to design precision parts.
