Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of ophthalmologic conditions.
  • Execute advanced surgical procedures to treat eye diseases.
  • Prescribe individualized medications based on patient evaluations.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers to manage complex cases.
  • Conduct educational presentations for patients about eye health.
  • Maintain up-to-date medical practices through continuous education.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and medical residents.
  • Conduct research to stay abreast of new treatments and technologies.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health.
  • Ensure that all services provided meet or exceed regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in ophthalmology
Experience
  • 3+ years of post-residency experience in ophthalmology
