Job Description
The Surgical Critical Care Physician Assistant will be a vital part of our surgical team, providing hands-on care to critically ill patients. This role involves managing complex medical and surgical conditions and assisting in key procedures.
Responsibilities
Deliver top-tier care within the surgical ICU.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and formulate treatment plans.
Perform essential procedures and assist surgeons as needed.
Mentor and train junior staff on critical care practices.
Ensure adherence to ethical and best practice standards in patient care.
Requirements
Education
Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program
Additional training in surgical medicine is preferred
Experience
Experience with trauma patients is highly preferred.
