Job Description

As a Truck Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations, coordinating and scheduling deliveries to ensure timely transport. The ideal candidate will excel in communication and possess strong organizational skills to handle the fast-paced environment of freight management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries and pick-ups of freight.
• Resolve transportation challenges and complaints expediently.
• Maintain accurate reports for operational transparency.
• Supervise the activities of dispatchers and trainees.
• Utilize dispatching software to monitor and manage logistics operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelors in Business or Logistics preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a dispatching or logistics role

Technical Skills

• GPS Tracking Software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CDL License

Languages

• Spanish: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience using TMS software: Experience with transportation management software to streamline operations.
