Reel System Operator

Job Description

The Reel System Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of film reel systems in a busy production environment. This critical role requires precision, technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the film reel system for film projection and distribution.
• Load and unload film reels onto projectors and transport them between locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the film reel system.
• Ensure timely delivery of film reels to theaters and other distribution partners.
• Keep accurate records of film inventory and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for film projection.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in machine operation or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic systems knowledge
• Proficiency in hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Experience with Computer-aided Design (CAD) software: Proficiency in CAD software for creating technical drawings.
