Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose physical impairments resulting from injury or illness.
Utilize diagnostic tools effectively for patient assessment.
Adjust therapeutic regimens based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
Work closely with physical therapists to coordinate care plans.
Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about rehabilitation.
Conduct peer reviews to ensure best practices are maintained.
Engage in patient advocacy efforts to improve service access.
Requirements
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Completion of a fellowship in rehabilitation medicine is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in physical rehabilitation
