Job Description

The Anesthesia Assistant will work as part of a critical team in a healthcare setting, supporting anesthesia providers during surgeries. This role demands excellent technical skills and a solid understanding of anesthesia practices, ensuring patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare anesthesia medications and equipment pre-surgery.
• Safeguard and monitor patients' vital signs throughout surgical procedures.
• Provide immediate assistance in emergency situations during surgery.
• Contribute to the maintenance and calibration of surgical apparatus.
• Keep up with patient documentation and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Engage in ongoing education and training within the anesthesiology field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in anesthesia settings
