We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance their recovery and promote functional independence. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, providing exceptional care that aligns with our commitment to patient wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret the results of patient evaluations to inform treatment strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients regarding their rehabilitation process.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques to address diverse patient needs.
• Support patient engagement through motivational strategies and education.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and expand skills.
• Lead workshops and seminars on physical health and rehabilitation.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages patient participation and feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred, especially in outpatient care

Technical Skills

• Rehabilitation protocols
• Manual therapy

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Graduated from an Accredited PT Program
• Specialized Physical Therapy Certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with telehealth practices: Experience in providing therapy through virtual platforms.
• Specializations in pediatric or geriatric therapy: Preferred experience in working with specific populations.
