Job Description

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting occupational therapists in delivering therapy services to our patients. You will assist in implementing therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs and help improve their day-to-day functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with various activities of daily living, promoting independence.
• Document patient treatment sessions accurately in the electronic medical records.
• Encourage patients and provide emotional support during therapy sessions.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Certified Occupational Assistant program
• Valid certification/license as a Certified Occupational Assistant

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Occupational Therapy setting
