Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with gynecological cancers. As a Gynecological Oncologist, you will manage all aspects of patient care, including surgical procedures and chemotherapy treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care by diagnosing and treating gynecological cancers.
  • Lead surgical interventions and oversee postoperative care.
  • Implement chemotherapy as part of a comprehensive treatment strategy.
  • Engage in patient and family education about cancer diagnosis and treatment.
  • Work closely with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated in the field.
  • Monitor and analyze patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Advocate for patient rights and promote health education.
  • Collaborate with researchers to innovate cancer treatments.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology
Experience
  • At least 3 years in Obstetrics and Gynecology; 1 year in Gynecologic Oncology
