Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with gynecological cancers. As a Gynecological Oncologist, you will manage all aspects of patient care, including surgical procedures and chemotherapy treatments.
Responsibilities
Provide patient-centered care by diagnosing and treating gynecological cancers.
Lead surgical interventions and oversee postoperative care.
Implement chemotherapy as part of a comprehensive treatment strategy.
Engage in patient and family education about cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Work closely with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated in the field.
Monitor and analyze patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Advocate for patient rights and promote health education.
Collaborate with researchers to innovate cancer treatments.
Requirements
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology
Experience
At least 3 years in Obstetrics and Gynecology; 1 year in Gynecologic Oncology
