Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operator and Tender to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our metal-refining furnaces, ensuring that production processes meet safety and quality standards. Your expertise will play a crucial role in optimizing the refining process, maintaining equipment, and supervising the operation of metal products.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of multiple furnaces during shifts.
• Perform quality checks on the molten metal produced.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades and improvements.
• Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure smooth handovers.
• Engage in safety meetings and contribute to a positive safety culture.
• Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Document operational procedures and changes for future reference.
• Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Metallurgy or related field
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in metal refining or related operations

Languages
