Job Description

We are seeking experienced Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dedicated team. The successful candidates will operate and maintain hydraulic spinning machines to produce high-quality metal and plastic components, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-precision parts.
  • Calibrate machines and tools to ensure product quality.
  • Monitor production output and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on machinery.
  • Support training of new operators and implement best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
  • Utilize software applications for production logging and reporting.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace to promote safety.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
  • Assist in the development of work instructions and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating and maintaining hydraulic spinning machines in a manufacturing environment.
