Elevator Examiner and Adjuster

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Elevator Examiner and Adjuster to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and adjusting elevator systems to ensure compliance with safety standards, while also providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of elevators and escalators.
• Provide testing and measurement services to assess performance.
• Adjust various elevator systems to optimize their performance.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
• Suggest actions for compliance and improved safety measures.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the industry.
• Handle emergency service calls and perform necessary fixes.
• Offer training to new technicians and staff.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area at all times.
• Keep abreast of current industry developments.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in Elevator Mechanics or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in elevator inspection and adjustment

Certifications

• Certified Elevator Inspector (CEI)
• ANSI A17.1 Compliance Certification

Languages
