Job Description
Join our dynamic ophthalmic team as a Medical Technologist. This role involves performing vital diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care throughout their treatment journey.
Responsibilities
Perform routine eye exams and assess patients' visual health status.
Guide patients through pre-operative and post-operative processes.
Educate patients on eye health and preventative measures for maintaining vision.
Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is advantageous
Experience
At least 2 years of experience as an ophthalmic technician or related position.
