Job Description

Join our dynamic ophthalmic team as a Medical Technologist. This role involves performing vital diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine eye exams and assess patients' visual health status.
  • Guide patients through pre-operative and post-operative processes.
  • Educate patients on eye health and preventative measures for maintaining vision.
  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as an ophthalmic technician or related position.

Certifications
