Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our San Francisco team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects. You will collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure structural integrity and comply with safety regulations. This position offers a chance to work on exciting construction projects impacting the San Francisco skyline.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed structural drawings and specifications.
  • Review and provide feedback on contractor submittals.
  • Optimize construction methods and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns in engineering principles.
  • Ensure all designs comply with current building codes and sustainability standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
  • Continuously monitor advancements in structural engineering practices and materials.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field
