Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our San Francisco team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects. You will collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure structural integrity and comply with safety regulations. This position offers a chance to work on exciting construction projects impacting the San Francisco skyline.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural design concepts and perform calculations.
• Conduct site visits to monitor compliance with design specifications.
• Liaise with local authorities to ensure all permits and regulations are adhered to.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and technical documents.
• Evaluate existing structures and recommend modifications when necessary.
• Utilize engineering software to model designs accurately.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field

• Finite Element Analysis
• Material Science

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
