As a Newscast Director at Media Company Inc., you will oversee the production and broadcasting of our news programs. This role involves coordinating all technical aspects of live and recorded newscasts, ensuring high-quality broadcasting standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production phases of newscasts from pre-production to broadcast.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling graphical content.
• Ensure adherence to strict timelines and quality control standards.
• Conduct post-broadcast analyses to assess overall production effectiveness.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance during production.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for any broadcast-related issues.
• Innovate ways to improve viewer experience and broadcast quality.
• Implement new technologies that enhance the production process.
• Engage with audiences through social media to gather feedback.
• Foster relationships with other media entities for potential collaborations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or Journalism
• Master's degree or higher preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of newsroom experience with directing responsibilities
