Job Description

As a Packaging and Filling Machine Operator, you will be tasked with setting up and operating labeling machines, ensuring the accurate labeling of our products. Your role is vital in maintaining the efficiency of our packaging line.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor labeling machines to ensure efficiency.
• Verify the accuracy of labeled products against specifications.
• Conduct regular quality control checks.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operations.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvements in the operation.
• Back up operators on other machines as needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
• Report any safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production targets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years in packaging or manufacturing environments.

Technical Skills

• Quality control skills
• Ability to read technical manuals

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies: Understanding of Six Sigma principles for process improvement.
