Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Welders, Cutters, Solderers, and Brazers to join our dedicated team at MetalWorks Corp. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in metal fabrication techniques and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate fittings.
• Monitor operation of welding devices to ensure proper output.
• Train and mentor junior team members on best practices.
• Assist with the layout and fabrication of metal structures.
• Ensure all safety gear is worn at all times while on the job.
• Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical diploma in welding and metal fabrication preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on welding or metal fabrication experience

Technical Skills

• Soldering Techniques
• Safety Procedures

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• AWS Certified Welder
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Robotic Welding: Hands-on experience in operating robotic welding machinery.
• Certification in Safety Procedures: Additional certification in safety and compliance relating to welding.
