Job Description

As a Routing Clerk at Logistics Solutions Inc., you will be instrumental in ensuring that shipments and deliveries are routed efficiently. You will coordinate with various departments to optimize routing processes, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all shipments are routed according to specified requirements.
  • Monitor shipment status and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  • Assess and modify routes based on delivery performance metrics.
  • Work with the logistics team to implement new routing technologies.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss routing strategy.
  • Establish relationships with local transportation vendors.
  • Develop contingency plans for routing disruptions.
  • Compile performance data to prepare weekly reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through effective routing solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics or routing
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
